Tanish Thakker is passionate about building India’s independent music ecosystem through artist development and live music experiences.

As Director at Gatecrash, an international tour management agency, Tanish specializes in curating high-quality live music experiences and touring global artists to India. He’s also the Founder of Amplify Music Incubator (AMI), India’s definitive development program for musicians, launched in 2021, which has supported 100+ musicians, engaged 120+ industry professionals, and hosted 250+ workshops.

AMI has nurtured breakthrough artists including Easy Wanderlings, Anoushka Masskey, Ranj x Cliffr, Bawri Basanti, Tanmaya Bhatnagar, Irfana, Till Apes, Sudan and many more through its comprehensive program.

Tanish is also Co-founder of Jazz Weekender, a celebrated jazz festival that has organized 3 editions in Delhi, programming acts across jazz, funk, soul, R&B, hip-hop, swing, and electronica. Additionally, he curates Jazz in India, a platform dedicated to promoting jazz culture in the country.

Drawing from 16+ years of experience across India, USA, and the UK in skills development, startup incubation, and music management, Tanish is committed to creating platforms and opportunities where artists and industry stakeholders can grow together.
