GATECRASH is a music agency based out of Mumbai organising high-quality concerts, promoting the live music scene and developing education programs.
We curate live music for venues, festivals and events, set up tours for international bands across the country, promote the jazz scene through jazzinindia.com and develop social initiatives, with the belief that music plays a powerful part in social change.
We collaborate with people from across the board to enable the projects that we are working on such as music venues, festivals, agencies, event management companies, foreign & local artists, foreign embassies, international cultural agencies, music export offices, corporates, brands, NGOs etc.

Emmanuelle de Decker a.k.a Emma, founded Gatecrash in 2012 with the aim to develop cultural exchanges between Europe & India through music. She has been a part of the music industry for over 20 years and worked at music festivals, artist booking agencies and cultural institutions across Paris, Tangier, Dublin, Seoul, Kolkata & Mumbai.
Prior to founding Gatecrash, Emma was head of live music programming at blueFROG for 5 years during the course of which she programmed and hosted over 500 + live acts. In addition to this she was a part of the core team that conceptualized and organised Nariyal Paani music festival in Alibaug and Goa International Jazz Live Festival.
Through her work in the music industry Emma’s expertise range across multiple domains, namely music curating for festivals, venues and events, organising concerts, tours and artist residencies and developing opportunities for networking and collaborations between music professionals. She has also been involved in various social projects and started the NGO "Music Mulakatein" to support social change through music.

Tanish has lived & worked across India, USA & UK over the last 12 years and his experience ranges across different domains of skills development, startup incubation and music management.
As a part of his past work, Tanish set up the Center for Employability at the University of Northampton (UK) which helped students develop a range of soft skills which they can use across any work. During this period, he also co-authored a textbook ‘Career Development and Employability Skills’ for a course that he developed for students at the University.
Post this, Tanish worked in the Startup Industry in India by working across Startups Incubators (Startup Village, Kerala), Startup Accelerators (Zone Startups India) and a Venture Capital (Round Glass). Through his roles here he helped over 100+ startups to grow and scale their business up.
Prior to joining Gatecrash, Tanish was a part of the core team at The Quarter (A music venue) enabling Logistics, A&R, Programming, Sponsorships & Event Production for them.
