Supported by Rikskonsertene from Norway, the conference comprising of music professionals, artists and creative entrepreneurs fromIndia and abroad is the back-bone of the festival. With a mix of panel discussions and workshops, the conference seeks to create sustainable networks for the industry, address present issues and encourage fresh ideas and initiatives.

“I think a platform like India Music Week is much needed, and in the years to come, it could play a key role in the vibrant music scene inIndia. What excites me the most is that it connects in a positive way, all the stakeholders in the independent music scene, and at so many different levels. It has the promise to educate, entertain and showcase talent from India and around the world, in an inclusive, participative manner. I sincerely hope that the musicians and their support structures will benefit from India Music Week, as that really is the key goal.”
